The Second Bedroom, opening from the far end of the kitchen, was originally part of the barn. It has been fully remodeled into a really pretty bedroom, fully winterized, with all new pine flooring and wall linings, but retaining the old double hung windows restored to functionality. The room is air-conditioned.

The bedroom is arranged as a twin with new L. L. Bean beds, made in Maine from native ash timber. Colorful Anthropologie quilts set off crisp white sheets and duvet covers. An old English pine chest of drawers stands in one corner and there is a really large walk-in closet.

Artwork, including original Soho New York lithographs, art photographs of Maine and art posters, adds to the warm welcoming feel of the room.
