The Yellow Bedroom features a painted English washstand, a pine chest of drawers and a new double bed made in England of pine. 100% white cotton sheets and a duvet cover offer a lovely contrast to the brightly coloured quilt from Anthropologie.
The art on the walls in this room is quite varied. Among them original needleworks, photographs, large oil painting of a Suffolk landscape, along with an ancient map of the county, an early Audobon print, and a watercolour by Thomas Churchyard painted around 1840. The room is air-conditioned by a stand-alone unit.
The en-suite bathroom is a new addition this summer. A skylight adds light and charm. The shower curtain and rug come from Garnet HIll. Plenty of white Turkish towels are folded nearby.
