Approaching from the South keep on Route 1 through Thomaston into Rockland. At the traffic lights, take a sharp left into Main Street (which is Rte. 1 North). Carry on throught Rockland historic downtown and then take the right fork (still Rte. 1 North). Pass Rte. 17 (Maverick Street) on your left, then Camden Street Terrace and then take a left into Bay View Square. The Captain Zadoc F. Brewster House is the first large white house on your left.
Approaching from the North, keep on Rte. 17 (from Augusta) to the junction with Rte. 1. Turn left on to Rte 1 North. Take the second left, which is Bay View Square. The Captain Zadoc F. Brewster House is the first large white house on your left. |
