Currently there isn’t a regular scheduled train service to Rockland although Maine Eastern Railroad's Midcoast excursion service runs between between Brunswick and Rockland from July through October.

The Downeaster scheduled service runs year round from Boston North Station to Portland, Maine. Car rentals, bus service, and limousine services are available at the Portland train station. The winter 2011 schedule is:
